On March 13th, the first session of the "Li Xiang Wuxi • New Wuxi Discourse" seminar was held at the National Super-computing Wuxi Center. Experts, scholars, social science theorists, young faculty and students from universities, and industry representatives gathered together to conduct in-depth discussions around the theme of "Developing New Quality Productivity to Promote High-Quality Development," providing theoretical support and intellectual assistance for Wuxi's development of new quality productivity in accordance with local conditions.

Professor Cheng Yukun from School of Business at Jiangnan University's delivered a report entitled "Strengthening the Digital Economy and Developing New Quality Productivity." The report emphasized the importance of the digital economy, pointing out that the innovative development of the digital economy is an important measure to accelerate the development of new quality productivity. At the same time, she made suggestions to promote the empowerment pace of "intelligence transformation, digital transformation, and network connection" and accelerate the cultivation of new quality productivity. She stated, "In the new stage of development,  it is important to continue to play the supporting role of infrastructure, moderately advance the construction of new infrastructure, actively layout data centers and computing power centers, and strengthen the large-scale application of industrial internet in Wuxi. By leveraging the power of industrial internet and data, Wuxi will further improve the intelligence level of manufacturing, help build a modern industrial system, and lay a solid industrial foundation for the development of new quality productivity."

It is reported that the "Li Xiang Wuxi • New Wuxi Discourse" series of seminars mainly focus on learning the latest achievements, major propositions, and major topics of the party's innovative theories, combined with vivid practices of promoting Chinese-style modernization in Wuxi.
